Default excel in powerpoint

After inserting a excel spreadsheet in a slide once clicked on the slide
loses all formatting it takes the first column and stretches it to fit the
slide, it will no longer show the whole worksheet.

Excel info cut off or cropped when pasted into PowerPoint
