Custom Animation
When I open custom animation details are displayed in the task pane. How do I

You don't, that is the idea behind having a task pane. g However with

Understand - Thanks for your response. Prior to a hard disk crash, custom
animation would open to a separate window which I have gotton very use to. Custom Animation
Was your animation task pane undocked? You should be able to grab the task

In addition to Shyam's advice, it might also be that you have the advanced animations turned off.
