Default How do I attach a task to a contact in '07?

In Office 2003 I could assign a task to a contact while on the contact page.
I can't work out how to do this in '07. When I'm talking to my customers I
often need to set one or more reminders to do things for them, like post
stuff out or call them back at a specific time and the follow up button just
isn't flexible enough - it doesn't show the task on the task list, just the
contact's name, and it doesn't allow for more than one task to be assigned
anyway. Is it just me that's massively frustrated by this? Is there a way
around it or do I have to re-install 2003 to get the system working the way I
need it to?
