loading Access when I already have a 2007 student Office pkg loade
I already have Office 2007, Student Version, on my computer but I need to
purchase another version to get Access for a course (too expensive tobuy the single program Access). Can I load the new Office package directly over the current one? Will I have duplicates of Excel, PPT, and Word 2007? I have documents in all of these current programs. Thanks in advance for your help! |

Well, you don't have documents in any program: your documents are files that
are opened with the program. If you do a custom installation of Office, you can choose to install as much or as little as you like. -- Doug Steele, Microsoft Access MVP http://I.Am/DougSteele (no private e-mails, please) "Bug" wrote in message ... Thanks in advance for your help! You can choose which program to install. Your documents will not be affected at all by installing a new version of the program. The program is one file in its own folder, the documents are different files in a different folder. -- John W. Vinson [MVP] |

One more question about Ultimate Office 2007
Thank you! One more question please: if I purchase the Ultimate Office, can
I download those other programs on another computer? I'm thinking of getting a new laptop and loading the new Excel, Word and PPT on it; can I split the package between computers? "John W. I think you could, but I am not an attorney and I don't work for Microsoft, and cannot speak for them. -- John W. Vinson [MVP] |

See these FAQs. http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/pr...CL100796341033 However, if you have a retail package, you can install the lot on one main device (desktop or portable) and one portable. UK terms (haven't looked for differences) are he http://office.microsoft.com/en-gb/pr...103171033.aspx Phil, London |
