Default Broken Query (can't open or edit)

I have a Select query which is acting realy strange.

it'll run through a form and it'll print straight from the Database Window

It wont however either open or open in design view at all from the database
window. It seemingly is invisible yet there as i can see it on the task bar.

I need to edit it and don't know why it is doing this. The onyl thing i can
think of that may have been a trgger was that i deleted a filed in a table
that it Selects from. I have tried reinserting the field into the table to no
avail the query still exerts this srange behaviour

Access 2000 btw

thanks
