Microsoft decided that it was in your interests you no longer needed them
along with a substantial number of other excellent features they have removed from different versions. I am mortified and disgusted that mortals like you question the decisions that Microsoft make and take at great pain and expense on your behalf. Who the hell do you think you are questioning their decisions? The next thing you will be trying to tell us that minion bonsai george w bush is an angel and hero. People like you are *UNBELIEVABLE* Proceed directly to your therapist. Do not pass GO, do not collect $200. -- "If you don't know where you are going, any road will take you there!" |

In previous version, when choosing a gradient, from the Fill patterns and shading menu, there was a choice of various gradient fills such as a 'star;' shape, a diamond, etc. Misha . |

Gradients can be fun but content is more important. ;-)

A small child turns to Ed, and exclaims: "Look! Look! A post from Brian
Kvalheim - [MS MVP] !"... The gradient effects in Publisher are endless, with tons of colors etc. Take a peek. JoAnn got ya started. -- But they're not as extensive in terms of shape as in previous versions of Publisher. They're limited to fit the current shape - so you can't put a heart gradient into a square, etc. -- Ed Bennett - MVP Microsoft Publisher http://www.mvps.org/the_nerd/ Before reading this message, view the disclaimer: http://mvps.org/the_nerd/disclaim.htm |
