Scattered Blank Pages in Report
I have created a parameterized report that lists companies of certain type (banks in this case) and priority (A-list). Each company is printed on it's own page (the detail section encompasses the whole page.)
The report works flawlessly with one exception. For two of the companies Access prints a page with the appropriate page header but a blank detail section. The following page is the company's profile as it should appear, with content in the detail section. The page following that is another page with the right header, but a blank detail section. I do not believe that any fields are growing and spilling over onto additional pages. I am puzzled as to what could be causing this and would welcome any guesses. I am using Access 97. Next week it will be upgraded to 2003. |

I suspect that if you set the "keep together" property for
the detail and /or footer bands that this may help. Otherwise provide more information such as how full is the report page when printed. Does this also happen when you print the report exclusively for these two banks, etc. Hope this helps. Scattered Blank Pages in Report
I had a problem with simular symptoms. My report was designed to print 6
details lines per page and did things as you are describing when a group with start new page had a multiple of 6 (6,12,18) records. If making minute changes to the heights of your detail, header and/or footer sections changes the behavior of the report you will need to do one of thre things: 1) adjust the heights until it works right then set the heights in the form open code (remember thats in twips 1440/inch) so they won't change again. 2)Write code to change the page on record counting instead of using the group new page property. 3)Once in a while, you may need a combination of 1 and 2. Hope that helps Nelson "I am Jack's Screwy Report" I am Jack's Screwy wrote in message ...
