Word 2007 & wps file

I have Microsoft office with word 2007 (OS Vista)

On a User account I have a number of wps files that I imported from my XP
laptop and these open in word 2007 just fine. The 'documents' folder is
shared with another (Admin) account and they can be accessed fine, however,
if I try to open the file word gives a file appears corrupt prompt.

Any ideas? ................... Richard
