Default 2007 doesn't see old macros

Hello -

I am am using Word 2007 with Vista Home.

I wrote a longish macro that deleted hyperlinks, footnotes, and other
formatting.
When I opened Word and looked for it, I could not find it.
Are my old macros available with this upgrade from Excel 2000 to 2007?

Thanks,
Paul

I would assume that you had the macro in your old Normal.Dot file, or
perhaps you had it in a template that you saved as an Add-in by saving it in
the Word Startup folder. You will need to open that file and copy the code
into a new template.

Yes, I was afraid of that.
I did have the foresight to save the MACRO in question and some others in a
separate directory in text format. So, now it is only a matter of
resurrecting them.
Thank you,
Paul
