VBA code does not work when using accde file
Does anybody know why all vba code would stop working after converting an
Access 2007 accdb file to accde format? I have looked around for several hours but I cannot find out why this would be. It appears from Microsoft’s help topics that the code is compiled and un-editable but should still run. I have added the directory containing the accde file to my trusted directories but this does not work. Anybody have any ideas on how to fix this? Thank you. |

Just a guess but did you put the accde file in a "trusted" folder like you
have to do when you create a new accdb file? Steve "oracle8202" wrote in message ... Does anybody know why all vba code would stop working after converting an Access 2007 accdb file to accde format? Thank you for your reply. I sure did. I have found some threads mentioning
this issue but I have not found any that had a solution. "Steve" wrote: Just a guess but did you put the accde file in a "trusted" folder like you have to do when you create a new accdb file? VBA code does not work when using accde file
Just an update, out of desperation I have tried signing the database with a
certificate and I have tried disabling the sandbox. Neither have worked. VBA code does not work when using accde file
Okay I have finally figured it out. You have to choose "Debug-Compile" from
the VBA editor and then create the accde file. I found the solutions on the threads below. http://www.tek-tips.com/viewthread.c...1482768&page=2 http://www.utteraccess.com/forums/sh...sb=5& o=&vc=1 "oracle8202" wrote: Does anybody know why all vba code would stop working after converting an Access 2007 accdb file to accde format?
