NEVER MIND -- re Reports keep closing
No response needed -- I left a docmd.close in the exit routine of the form
that calls the report -- so it would display the report, and then head back to the form and close everything. Sorry about that, it's a Monday. "KarenH" wrote: Hello, What would cause an Access report to immediately fire the Report_Close event before allowing the user to see it? I have debugged the code, no errors -- no error messages occur. The docmd from the form opens it in preview mode (and that is the same one used for other reports, and those reports work). There is code behind the Report_open that sets certain groups visible or not visible, and there is code behind the Page_Header format event that causes a certain textbox to be visible or not visible. There is code behind the Report_close event that sets me.filter = "". The same code is in another report that works just fine, and the only difference is in some of the groups on the report. When I run this report, it opens and immediately fires off the close. I'm out of ideas. Thanks in advance for any that anyone else can give me to fix this! |
