where in access 2003 do you change the default appearance of a new field on
a form? Mine are coming up with sunken with a green border...yuck! I
looked through tools/options but didn't find it.

Select the textbox on your toolbox, and look at the Properties window.
You'll see it's labelled "Default Text Box". Make your changes there, and
they should apply to all of your database from now on. (You will have to go
back and change any text boxes you've already created)
