Form Fields in Word 2000
Help!
I have a template with form fields. When I start a new document from the template and put in text in the prompt boxes the document ends up like this. {FILLIN"date"\*MERGEFORMAT} Yet it prints what I typed in the boxes. Any help would be appreciated. Bill |

Press Alt+F9 to toggle between field codes (what you see now) and field
results. That's a shortcut for going to the Options dialog and checking/unchecking the Field Codes box. -- Regards, Jay Freedman Microsoft Word MVP FAQ: http://word.mvps.org Email cannot be acknowledged; please post all follow-ups to the newsgroup so all may benefit.
