Default Saving scans to network folder

Hi

I hope someone can help me. In our office we have begun to roll out scanning
stations. We are using Microsoft Office Document Scanning in Office 2003 to
manage the scanning process, due to it's ease of use.

I have been modifying the presets to suit our particular requirements. One
of these requirements is that we store all scanned documents directly on to a
network share. However, when editiing the configurataion of a preset, to
change the default save location the application does not see the network
share.

I have been through the application top to bottom and have even tried
looking for the appropraite entry in the registry but to no avail.

Does anyone have any idea how I can modify this ? FYI the OS is Windows 2000
with SP4.

Regards
Michael

Hi Michael,

I'm not sure what might be causing an issue in this
case. For example, what results do you get with these steps.

A. Start Windows explorer and from the Tools menu
map a folder to a drive letter.

B. Use Start=Programs=Microsoft Office Tools
to start MS Office Document Scanning and create
a new preset then set a destination in the Output tab
of the Preset Options to that mapped drive.
