Default Install error 1303

My computer came with Office trial version. I bought Office Home & Office
2007.
I uninstalled the trial version and am attempting to install my purchased
product.
After entering my key, installation begins but then stops with this Error:
1303 "Cannot acces C:ProgramFiles(x86)\CommonFiles\MicrosoftShared\EQ UATION"
I checked and I do have this file. "Make sure I have access"? I am the
admin of my computer. I have Windows 7 64-bit OS

Now what?

Barb

You uninstalled the Office 2007 Trial. But did you also uninstall the Activation
Assistant also ? Suggest you uninstall everything including what you started to
install and uninstall the Activation Assistant and everything concerning any Office
apps and the reboot and restart the installation of your purchased Office H &S
