Default Find a date between two date fields

I have a database which contains an events table, fields a
Event Title, End date, Start date, Start time, End time, Frequency (this is a combo for weekly, daily, monthly, one off)

What I want to do is have a query that will pull out events which occur between the start and end dates, It may be that the user will want a report which displays events taking place on a particular day or between a range of dates. The database is for staff organising evening classes and events.

I am presuming that this will be like a parameter query where the user will be prompted to enter a start and end date to get the result.

My problem is it has been ages since I used Access and I cannot get my head around how to make the query work, I have only used basic queries or simple parameter querys before.

Grateful for any help which can be given.

Thanks
Shirley
