OE Error # 0x800CCC69 - won't send
I recently lost the ability to send email. I can receive
just fine. My ISP can't find anything not set up correctly. The error code is described as "SMTP_550_MAILBOX_NOT_FOUND." What does it mean and what can I do? Thanks. |

Norman, thanks for your reply. Here is the entire error
message, which shows up every time I try to send: An unknown error has occurred. Account: 'Mom's E-mail', Server: 'mail.owc.net', Protocol: SMTP, Server Response: '550 Limit exceeded Found 216.126.128.53 in orbs recent cache, action (deny)', Port: 25, Secure(SSL): No, Server Error: 550, Error Number: 0x800CCC69 Does that give you anything more to go on? What does the complete error message look like? Did you pull that from a bounce? Or was it from a failed connection to the SMTP server? That is not really enough to go on.
