Default Importing contacts from Excel gives only part of file

Can someone help me? I am trying to import contacts from
an excel spreadsheet which contains about 1500 contacts.
I have 'mapped' the fields from the header of the excel
spreadsheet to the fields of outlook contacts where
appropiate, adjusted the outlook categories to the
categories in excel etc. When i import however it only
takes about 425 of the excel records, The rest are
missing. I have compared the missing records to the
records which do end up in outlook and i cant find the
difference. It is not clear to me in which way those
other records differ that they dont end up in my outlook
contacts file. Help please!

Did you check your named range to make sure it included all 1500 rows?
