Default How do I reconfigure banners in calendar?

Example: on a train trip covering more than one day, the displayed banner
sometimes breaks up into two peices because of another scheduled event. How
can I move these banners around so they become one instead of segmented.

Are they all day events? If so, they should be one banner across the top.
