I have a number of received emails which I would like to send to a friend of
mine as a set of attachments to one cover email.

How do I do this?

Peter.

Open a new compose message window, then drag/drop the messages you wish to
send from the folders where they are contained in Outlook Express into the
text portion of the compose message window where they will be added as
attachments. You may have to resize your Compose window so that you can do
this, but it's really quite simple.
