Default Problem with OE and Messenger

Hi:
When I open Outlook Express, The old version of Messenger launches
autmatically. How can I deactivate this feature?

Thanks in advance

Hi Luis,

I don't know if this will help, but what is the setting in Tools, Options
for automatic log on to (Windows) Messenger?

A Google search for "disable messenger outlook express" brought up:

Remove Windows Messenger from Outlook Express
http://www.winguides.com/registry/display.php/989/

As well as:

Disable it in Outlook
(adjust the 10.0 directory as needed for your office version..)

Remove Windows Messenger from Internet Explorer
