Another Windows Installer problem

It doesn't mention Office but definitely solved my problem. It is a
download from microsoft so should be safe and took me about 15 minutes to run.

I didn't think it would work for 1 minute but now excel and word etc load
instantly with no errors.

2007 on a vista machine and had this issue with the windows installer screens
popping up each time an office app is run. I tried removing office 2007
which lead to the same error but in an endless loop for Front page 2003
(occurred even without trying to start the program. ) I eventually was able
to uninstall it and reinstalled office 2007. Smae errors.

For Excel
An error box with
stdole32.tlb written in it
then a
Large square window
Please wait ...setup files then a large box with
Configuration Progress
Configuring microsoft Office Enterprise 2007
The others do not have the error box pop up.
Eventually the program will run.

I tried downloading the msicuu2.exe (which warns against using on office
2007) but was reccomended in the other thread, but even though it installs I
can't find it anywhere to try to run it.


Any ideas?
