Default Linking Excel tables to Word documents

I am using Microsoft Office 2003. I link Excel tables to word documents to
prepare financial statements and the tables in the notes to the financial
statements. On the screen and in the printed document some of my text
appears to be touching, or slightly overlapping, each other (i.e. the
letters "ve" appear connected whenever the two letters appear together).
Until the recent upgrade to Office 2003, I did not have this problem. I
first thought the problem had something to do with my printer drivers, but
they are current. Can anyone help me with this? I am cetainly not dancing,
or being celebrated, like the people in the Office 2003 commercial.

Thanks,
Chris Lightle
