Default Visual Studio 2008 and Visio 2007

I am following the online documentation on using Visio 2007 in Visio Studio,
but none of the options are available. How do I get Visio Studio 2008 to
recognize Visio 2007 so I can check out the Visio UML features?

Default Visual Studio 2008 and Visio 2007

Hi,

Thanks for the quick reply. I have Visio 2007 Pro and I see the UML Diagrams.

But when I try to work in Visual Studio 2008 ... From Office Help and online
help
(http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/vi...CH100902441033)

"In Visual Studio, in the Solution Explorer, select a solution.
On the Project menu, click Add New Item.
In the Add New Solution Item dialog box, click Visio Files, and then click
UML.
Under Templates, click a UML diagram, and then click Open."

This is not available in my in Visual Studio, 2008 Pro. I do not have an
option for Visio Files, etc. I do see some of the functionality in Visual
Studio 2005.

Thanks, Jay.

The last version of visual studio (vs2005 enterprise) had it's own version
of visio (enterprise) that came with it to integrate the two of them. There
has been no comparable edition created for vs2008 and the official response
is that there will not be one.
sorry,
