Default Printing Visio 2002 drawing in Visio 2003

I have 2 different versions of visio at work - 2002 & 2003.

I have a couple of drawing that were created and saved in visio 2002.
There opened and printed fine on other PCs runing 2002, however, when I
try and open and print them on a PC running 2003, I get a blank page
printed out. Even the print preview on those 2003 PCs shows a blank
page. Have checked layer properties, and there are no non-printing
items on the page.

Anyone has any ideas?

Thanks.

Do both computers have the same type of printer? Is it the same
physical printer? Are the print drivers up to date? Windows XP or
Vista?

yes, they have the same printer and Visio 2002 PC use Win2000, Visio 2003 PC
uses WinXP
if WinXP PC install Visio 2002, the print out works fine~

I tired open a new drawing in Visio 2003, copy & paste all the Visio 2002
content to it, the the print out is no problem~

Thanks again

You should make sure you have all the latest updates for both version of
Visio. Then test by creating a new drawing in 2002 and see if you get the
same results. If the issue does not occur with the new drawings then it
specific to the drawings, could be something in the drawing that does not
work well with 2003. You mentioned if you copied and paste the content into a
new drawing then the issue went away. If you save this drawing in 2003 in the
2002 format does the drawing work properly when you take it back to 2002?

What type of drawing is it? How are you doing a copy and paste between
two different machines?
