Delimited List
I'm creating a document that has several drop down boxes. all are going good
but one. After i validate and good to check the list. A box pops up and says. "The list source must be a delimited list, or reference to single row or column". The list i have is on another worksheet in the same workbook. The list is named ADDRESSES. Can anyone help?

Recheck your data validation range

The named range ADDRESSES cannot be a multi-col range Must be either a single col range or a single row range. Check / amend the named range via: InsertNameDefine -- Max Singapore http://savefile.com/projects/236895 Downloads:19,000 Files:362 Subscribers:61 xdemechanik ---

Thanks Max. I just figured it out. The addresses were in merged cells instead
of one cell. once i deleted the additional merged cells and just left the cell they were written in it allowed me to validate. A Lot of trial and error. of one cell. once i deleted the additional merged cells and just left the cell they were written in it allowed me to validate. The ground refrain is to avoid using merged cells. It can cause a lot of pain/downstream issues, an example of which you mention above.
