error 0x800ccc19
Hi bp,
The error is likely caused by the message scan feature of your anti-virus program. Start by disabling message scan. Confirm that the correct server names are in the mail accounts properties. Try sending and receiving. In some cases it is necessary to re-enter the server names, your user name and password. You can try re-enabling the message scan, but your PC will still be protected if not used. If you have both outgoing and incoming message scanning try using only incoming. Microsoft KB Article http://support.microsoft.com/default...18&Product=oex -- Tim K. aka Kuay Tim MVP - (IE/OE) Lynnwood, WA * "bp" wrote in message om... I am getting the above error. I can send e-mails, and the computer knows how many e-mails I have coming in, but cannot fully download them. It gets stuck. My POP3 server is not responding. Wghen I try to reload IE6 I get a message that some of my installation files are missing. I tried to create a temporary folder of "uninstall" without any good result. Clearly I may well be barking up the wrong tree. Any suggestions welcome. |
