Default WORD 2000

If it's happening for paragraph styles other than Normal you have to
clear the setting to automatically update for those styles as well.
Make sure the cursor is in one of the paragraphs that was changed, and
see what style it's using. The description at
http://word.mvps.org/FAQs/Formatting...eformatted.htm
still applies, but you'll have to perform the change for a different
style than Normal.

I recently got a new Dell computer and I'm having an

issue
with formatting in WORD. If I change a format (bold,
underline, align right, etc.,) WORD changes it for the
entire document. I can choose "undo" and it will

change
the document back except for the word that I wanted to
change the format for in the first place.

I have a feeling that it's some default that was set

when
the computer was shipped, but have not been able to
determine which one it is. HELP!
