I didn't have a file here to test with, so I created one and I confirmed
that if you are using PowerPoint 2003 Viewer and your GIF is set for 1 cycle, it has the same bug that PowerPoint 2003 has and it won't animate. If you open the GIF file in animation software such as Animation Shop by Jasc and you change the number of times that it is to play to 2, it will play once in both PowerPoint 2003 and the PowerPoint 2003 Viewer. Both seem to misread or misinterpret the number in the header of the file and they play it one less time than you specify. Sooooo....1 - 1 = 0, while 2 - 1 = 1. -- Sonia, MS PowerPoint MVP Team Autorun CD software, templates, and tutorials http://www.soniacoleman.com/ "ramin" wrote in message ...
