Default How do I exclude first pages in document for TOC

I want to exclude the first 3 pages from a table of contents. I do not know
how to do this. Also I want to have some pages potrait and some pages
landscape within the document. When I change one page from potrait to
landscape they all change. How do I include dynamic references in a
document. example. I have standard on page seven. I want to live reference
(shortcut) to this standard from page 54 and page 183. Haven't be able to
figure this out.

Thanks for the help.

On what are you basing the Table of Contents? If it is based no Heading
Styles, you should not use the Styles, on which the Table of Contents is
based, on the first three pages of the document.

If what you really mean is that you want the body of the document to start
on Page 1, then you need to insert a Section Break before the start of that
page and format the page numbering so that it starts at 1, rather than
having it continue from the previous Section.

Also, if you want to have a mixture of Portrait and Landscape orientation
pages in the document, you need to insert Section Breaks at the points where
you want the orientation to change and the apply the page setup to those
sections individually.

For the standard on page 7, you need to insert a bookmark and then on the
other pages, you insert a cross-reference to the text of that bookmark.
