Cross References in Word
When I insert a cross reference into a document, when I
update the references Word seems to put in a page break after the cross reference. Does anyone know a solution for this, or if there is a fix for it ? Thanks |

Cross References in Word
Alan,
This happens when you insert a cross-reference, then insert a page break (or section break) right before the referenced item, the break gets picked up in the cross-reference. The only way to fix it at that point is to re-insert the cross reference. It is usually better to avoid manual page breaks. Look into using the "Page break before" format option for paragraphs. regards cjd "Alan Ainslie" wrote in message ...
