Default Home and Student 2007 INstallation

I have a new copy of Office Home and Student for my notebook machine. The
notebook came with a pre-installed trial version of Office 2007. Should I
in.install this before I install my copy of Home and Student 2007?

Also, I understand that this new Home and Student version of Office is good
for 3 machines. I ordered my desktop machine with an OEM version of Office
2007 Basic, which included Word, Excel and Outlook. I would like to have the
added programmes, namely, PowerPoint and OneNote on my Desktop computer as
well. What should I do in this case? Should I uninstall Office Basic (I
have the original disc for this), then Install Home and Student, then Office
Basic on top of that to get Outlook 2007 (which is not included with Office
Home and Student). Will the installation know that individual programmes are
already install on the machine?

1. Yes, uninstall the trial version of Office before installing the paid
version.

2. Do a custom install of the HSE. Read each step carefully.
