Outlook 2003 and scheduling Resource meetings

I am using Outlook 2003 Build 11.5608.5703 and I am getting this error message when trying to book a resource room.
"The object could not be found. Unable to directly book a resource for this meeting."

I have found a couple technet articles on clearing the cache and have done so..BUT I still get the same error..When I try to book this same conference room with Outlook 2000..I get no error message and am able to successfully book a meeting..

Any suggestions/ideas are greatly appreciated!!!!
