When I click on print layout view (icon left bottom of
the screen) in "Word 2002", everything shows up vertical
including some icons on the formatting toolbar.
E.g. If you enter text the first letter appears at the
right top and the next one just below it, in stead of
next to each other.
Some icons are turned 90 degrees.

I want it normal again

HELP

It sounds as though you have accidentally gotten set up for an Asian
language; perhaps Chinese or Japanese.

If I had this problem, I would look at Windows Control Panel under
Text Services, or under Keyboard | Language, or similar (depends on OS
etc.) and make sure that my language was set correctly and that all
Asian languages were disabled.

I might also look under Tools | Language | Set Language and make sure
that was set sensibly.
