Default acess reports containg graphs 2E+05

I produce a report that contains a bar graph. The x axis is supposed to contain dates, but randomly access spits out 2E+05 for the dates on a page. Has anyone run into this problem?

I have run into this when the date is too long to display in the space provided.

Have you set the x-axis to be a time-scale. You can do this from the axes tab in chart options. You could then set the format by right clicking on the axis and going to format axis...
