Default Restoring old emails and accounts on new OS

Hi,
My old XP packed in, but luckily had a back up on another drive. How do I
move all the emails and accounts from one OE to the new OE as I can still
access the old drive and in the process of trying to get the old XP up and
working.
Thanks

Account settings are kept in the Registry.
You can File, Import, Messages, OE 6, select other store directory, browse
to the old store folder.

Thanks but wouldn't know where to look for my old folder. And I can't get
into my old documents folder if they are there, says access denied! Did have
a password on my account login, would that be why?

Unless you move the store folder, the default location is C:\Documents and
Settings\userid\Local Settings\Application Data\Identities\{long string of
numbers and letters}\Microsoft\Outlook Express .
The OE store folder files are marked as hidden. You must enable viewing of
hidden files.

I am not sure on how to access pass worded file.

Importing OE Data (all DBX files, including Folders.dbx)
http://www.insideoe.com/faqs/how.htm#importOE5

I'm afraid you'll have to recreate all of your accounts manually, though.
