How do I get the same results with Publisher on 2 different co
ngboyo was very recently heard to
utter: The font substitution was made long before the document was transferred to the 2nd computer. Then you are misunderstanding the meaning of the word Font Substitution. If you move a document to another computer, and the second computer does not have the fonts used in the document, Publisher will substitute different fonts in the place of the originals. -- Ed Bennett - MVP Microsoft Publisher |

Unless the two computers are identical in every way, and we are not talking about case shape and colour here, anything produced on either computer may well have it's own nuances.. please ensure that both computers have the same fonts installed locally as are being used in the document.. -- Mike Hall MVP - Windows Shell/User "ngboyo" wrote in message ... Select all, select the font and size you think is correct, it very well could be you
changed something along the way. Some times when you insert a symbol or a special character of a different size of the rest of the text, the following text will take on a different point size. Look at the format of the text box, what is the line spacing? Create a dummy text box in the scratch area, paste some text into the box the way you want your original text to appear, select all in the new box, click the paint brush format tool, click your original text box. -- Mary Sauer MSFT MVP http://office.microsoft.com/ http://msauer.mvps.org/ news://msnews.microsoft.com "ngboyo" wrote in message ... How do I get the same results with Publisher on 2 different comput
Thank you all for trying to help here. I've decided to reformat the text on
the 2nd computer. I guess that there is some difference between the 2 computers but I can't find it. Perhaps when I have more time........... "ngboyo" wrote: A document produced with Publisher 2003 on my computer shows much smaller line spacing on another computer with the same version. Any suggestions? |

Sarah Balfour was very recently
heard to utter: Er that would be two words, wouldn't it Edward...? LOL. No excuses there! And here was I thinking you'd passed maths A Level... ;o) You don't need to be able to COUNT to pass Maths A-level. I could have obtained enough marks to pass just by doing the algebra! -- Ed Bennett - MVP Microsoft Publisher |
