Notification Pop up when receiving an email in a functional mailbo

I have an issue when I receive an email in my inbox I get a pop up and sound
notification. But on a functional mailbox I dont receive that notification. I
have been in options\ advanced options and alerts are all on, but I dont know
how to add another email to this option, or if it can even be done... Thanks
in advance
