I have a workbook with many tabs that each contain a table of data. The rows
are dates and the columns are hours of the day (each tab is the same format
but contains different data). I have a summary sheet that extracts certain
data from each tab, is there a Macro that would allow me to get a daily
average of each day from all the tabs?

If desired, send your file to my address below. I will only look if:
1. You send a copy of this message on an inserted sheet
2. You give me the newsgroup and the subject line
3. You send a clear explanation of what you want
4. You send before/after examples and expected results.

If the summary sheet is designed in the same format..you can try the below
formula format which averages from Sheet1 to Sheet3 B2:J2

=AVERAGE(Sheet1:Sheet3!B2:J2)

Change the sheetnames and cellranges to suit

If this post helps click Yes

I don't think you need a macro to do what you are asking, you could very well
accomplish it with a worksheet function.
It would be more helpful if you can post an example of the data on these
tabs.
