Memo Field Cut Off

Hi, I have a report that works off a query, including some memo fields. In the report, they are getting cut off. I already have the controls set to Can Grow, and I know that works since it is only one line big in design view, but expands to 2 or 3 lines depending on the length of the text. But, it doesn't go all the way to include ALL the text in the memo field. I checked the query the report uses and the full text IS there! I am totally mystified why it would grow, but only part way!? I'm using Access 2010 Beta. Could that be it? Or is there something I'm missing? Are you applying a format property to the TextBox or are you grouping on that field? Either of those will cause them to truncate at 255 characters. |

The only formatting is the font and size. I am not grouping or sorting on
that field. I also tried it in Access 2007 and had the same exact issue. "Rick Brandt" wrote: jschping wrote: Hi, I have a report that works off a query, including some memo fields. Memo Field Cut Off
I just went back and checked. Somehow in the format property it said "@"
I have no idea what that means or how it got there! But once I got rid of it, the full text was there! Thanks so much! Could you explain how that got there since I never put it there? Thanks!!
