Add Warm Colors to the Color Scheme for Office 2007
I just downloaded a trial version of Office 2007. The blue and silver color
schemes are in the "cool" color palette and the black is harsh. You definitely need to add "warm" colors to make it easier on the eyes. A mottled brown would be great, for example. Perhaps this is an issue only for older eyes (I'm 47), but the blue, silver and black are a pain to look at (literally) for an extended period of time. ---------------- This post is a suggestion for Microsoft, and Microsoft responds to the suggestions with the most votes. Add Warm Colors to the Color Scheme for Office 2007
I'm in a training class. One of the other class members is nearly blind and
is really struggling with the new color schemes. I just found this thread and shared it with him. He can finally see the toolbars now. I'm not sure this info is sufficiently well publicized for accessibility needs. Thank you. He will be much more productive now. Add Warm Colors to the Color Scheme for Office 2007
Just to clarify, the High-Contrast color schemes were no help to him either
as shown. The important piece of the explanation was that using those schemes, he could change the colors using Advanced. "Sherlock" wrote: I'm in a training class. Add Warm Colors to the Color Scheme for Office 2007
The disconcerting thing is that Office does not appear to be even remotely
connected to the setting for Windows. There are only THREE color schemes and NONE OF THEM are even close to visually effective. I cannot even tell which window has the focus. Office should revert to and use the same theme structure as Windows. "Donna" wrote: I just installed Office XP 2007. I hate the colors of everything.
