Office 2003 installation on top of Office Trial version
hello,
I bought a new laptop (Sony VAio A190) with preloaded MS Office (santdard version) for a 60 day trial. Now I just purchased Office 2003 Professional. After installing (I opted for "typical installation") this Prof version now when i attempt to start Office Word or Powerpoint it will ask for Product Id...when I enter my Prof Product ID it will not recognize it as correct ID. Howeevr I am able to use the Publisher (which is only available with Prof. version. I could I resolve this problem. Doe sthis mean during the Prof installation the system recognized oter componenets of Office as already installed thus Office @003 Prof is not completely installed...except for the components (i.e Publisher) which were NOT included in the Standard version. Please respond with any solution to my email THanks |

You should have uninstalled the trial version before installing your retail
version. "acedoc2002" wrote: hello, I bought a new laptop (Sony VAio A190) with preloaded MS Office (santdard version) for a 60 day trial. Now I just purchased Office 2003 Professional.
