Outlook niggles
I'm still getting to grips with this Outlook 2007 program and have a further
two niggles: 1. Sometimes when people send me an email which is quite lengthy (plain text) outlook displays it in such a way that the font size is far too small I have to copy and paste it into Word! it's like it's trying to fit 2 pages on to one page. 2. When I click on To: to select a contact to send an email to, it can take a minute or more (sometimes) for the pop-up contact list to 'free itself' to allow me to select the recipient(s) Such a shame MS decided to discontinue WinMail in Windows 7 :-( -- Ron |

Outlook niggles
Win 7 uses Windows Live Mail, the successor to WM, if you care to install
it. 1) do you actually open the msg? 2) Cannot say I've experienced this, is the problem replicated if you open Outlook using the safe switch? "RonOB" wrote in message ... 1. Check the Zoom settings on the message to ensure that it is set to 100%
(lower right hand corner) 2. Do you have more than one contacts folder designated as an Outlook Address Book? -- Milly Staples [MVP - Outlook] Post all replies to the group to keep the discussion intact. "Milly Staples [MVP - Outlook]" what@ever wrote in message ... 1. Do you have more than one contacts folder designated as an Outlook Address Book? Not as far as I am aware...how would I check this? (yes, I'm very new to Outlook). Ron |

Aha, I usually just use the preview pane - that could well be the problem...damn annoying that I have to open the message though when OE and WinMail manage to re-size/scale text. 2) Cannot say I've experienced this, is the problem replicated if you open Outlook using the safe switch? I don't know what the 'safe switch' is or the implications of its use? Ron |

Just to add:
1. I don't appear to have a zoom setting in the lower right 2. Yes, even if I open the message the type is small Ron |
