Why don't new emails appear in my inbox?
When Outlook performs a send/receive, and I know for a fact new emails have
been received, the nevertheless do not immediately appear in my inbox. However, if I then click on another folder (ie, Junk Email) then click back to the Inbox, then the messages magically appear. Very frustrating indeed. |

Why don't new emails appear in my inbox?
I am also having this same problem. However, mine still don't show up after
clicking on another folder. I know I have new emails because my Live Messenger shows them popping up. Sometimes it has take a minute or two to show up, and other times, its been over an hour and still no new emails in my inbox. Is there a way to fix this I wonder? It defeats the purpose of Outlook if I have to still go to my hotmail to check them. Ok...I went to microsoft.com and under help and support went to Outlook. I
have 2007 version. I found a repair tool that is called "inbox repair for outlook". Just search that name and it will give you a link. Then follow the on screen directions. Hopefully, the problem is fixed! So far so good! Good luck!
