Your POP3 server has not responded in 600 seconds
PA Bear: Thank you, thank you, thank you!! Telnet
worked. It took me a while to figure out how to use it, but it worked. Now I can get on with my life. Susie -----Original Message----- The 29th message in the queue is causing problems. Either go to your online Inbox and delete it (and any other spam, etc., especially ones of very large size) or telnet to the POP3 server to remove #29 from the queue: http://pages.prodigy.net/michael_san...pop3telnet.htm -- HTH - Please Reply to This Thread ~Robear Dyer (PA Bear) MS MVP-Windows (IE/OE), AH-VSOP AumHa Forums http://forum.aumha.org What You Should Know About Spyware http://www.microsoft.com/mscorp/twc/...y/spyware.mspx Susie wrote: The message says: "your POP3 server has not responded in 600 seconds. For the last week, when I open Outlook Express, I receive the same e-mail that came in a week ago, then I receive no new e-mails, but get the message "Your POP3 server has not responded in 600 seconds." I've never had this problem before, and nothing is different on my computer, to my knowledge. Thanks to anyone who can help me. Susie . . |

YW & thanks for posting back. Telnet can be a useful tool, especially in
these situations. -- ~PA Bear Susie wrote: PA Bear: Thank you, thank you, thank you!! Telnet worked. It took me a while to figure out how to use it, but it worked. Now I can get on with my life.
