visio pro 2003 gantt chart

i am having trouble with gantts and the help does not show me much.

1. when i go into print preview the first page it shows starts in
march 2005 eventhough i have tasks in oct 2004.

2. is there a setting to get the task name onto the task bar?

i want to do a gantt chart covering 10/1/2004 to 9/30/2005 with about
30 tasks. is there a simple document that explains this?

Hi,

Since the Gantt Chart has 30 tasks, may be it is not being seen in the
print preview due to incorrect page setup.

To view the Gantt chart properly and print it you need to click/use the
option of Fit to x sheets across of Print zoom (all pages) in the Print
setup section of Page Setup dialog box. Depending on the size of gantt
chart it may span to many pages. So you may need to fill in the correct
number of pages with the help of print preview.
