Default Bought 2007 Student by mistake. Does not have Outlook How do I u

I bought a new net book on Black Friday. While I was at Office Depot, the
sales person said I will need to install Office on it and it was on sale. I
bought it and brought it home and installed it and realized that the version
I bought was Student and it does not include Outlook.

I shrugged it off and said I opened it I am stuck with it. I will use my
online email on the netbook. Now since the product supports up to 3
computers, I wanted to update my desk top. I prefer Outlook on my desk top
for the calendar and it has better formatting capabilities. How do I update
my outlook? Will I have to pay an enormous fee because of this screw up? I
know I should have asked and looked, but it was 7AM and Black Friday...

You can buy Outlook as a standalone package. I believe there is an upgrade
available and that would be less expensive than a full version.

You can run previous versions of Office apps with current versions (though
Microsoft doesn't recommend it).

You can also purchase Outlook standalone without having to buy an entire new
suite.
