Default Word: display a hyperlinked sample screen in a pop-up window?

I'm trying to layer information in Word 7. In WinHelp, you can display
hyperlinked screens, etc., in a pop-up window that overlays the topic that
calls it. Does anyone have a way to do this in a Word file?

I assume you mean Word 2007? Word 7 is something entirely different.
However, the answer to this particular question would be the same. This is
not possible in document format.
