Default how can I set microsoft office picture manager as default

how can I set microsoft office picture manager as default. I've tried the
tools menu which doeas not offer the right choices and I have tried opening
picture manager and do not get question of opening as default or opening all
files of that type...I just do not see where to set it up.

As default where? To open image files with it automatically?
Try right-click on enay image, e.g. *.JPG file, --Open With--Slect
Program--from list--Office Pic manager-- check box which says "use this
program always to open files of this type", or something to that effect.

It's selfexplanatory.
You could achieve the same result in Vista by going into COntrol panel--Set
Default Programs (or somethign to that effect), scroll down to JPG, or
whatever image filetypes you care abut, and click "change or something like
that, then select Office Picf manager from the list, and "use always".
