Installing Microsoft Enterprise Office 2007 from net
Hello all
I purchased a laptop without a cd-rom and want to download my Microsoft Enterprise Office 2007 version onto it. I have tried to look online so I can download and then enter the product key I have with my disk. Can someone please help in regards to what I am to do. Thank you for your advise, take care. |

It is not a good idea to download a trial verson from Microsoft website and then
using your retail key to activate it. People have complained many times that the product key isn't accepted by the trial version and moreover, it becomes extremely difficult to uninstall the trial version completely from the system If you are really serious to tell us that your laptop hasn't got a DVD drive then I suggest buy an external USB version that you can use to install the software. You will need a DVD/CD drive in any case if you are going to back up your system on a regular basis. Hope this helps. Thank you for the response. I was not looking to download the trial v
ersion. It was just I was told that I could go online and download a copy as I already had purchased a office enterprise 2007 copy. the person also told me that it was possible to somehow use the cd-drive of a desktop if as there was not one on the laptop. Anyone done that before? Thank you "Expert" wrote: It is not a good idea to download a trial verson from Microsoft website and then using your retail key to activate it. You have to install from dvd or by copying the disk to a memory stick.
But since Enterprise is not a retail edition, where did you get it from? "TK" wrote in message ...
